  1. Kia ora Sam,

Another fabulous post, I am really enjoying reading them!

Wow, bats are fascinating! I can't believe there are over 1000 species of them. Have you ever seen a bat? Are there any bats in New Zealand?
I went to Magnetic Island in Australia once and there were fruit bats everywhere at night, they were pretty cool.

Until next time, happy blogging :)

  2. Hi Emma,

Thanks for reading my post and commenting.
I have seen hundreds of bats before actually.
In Fiji, at night, hundreds of them fly over our
house to where I'm guessing is a feeding ground.

  3. Hi Sam,

You are so welcome, I have really enjoyed reading your posts.

I would love to go to Fiji one day. Did you go with your family for a holiday? It's pretty amazing to see isn't it however I don't think I would want to be standing under them when there is that many flying around, who knows what they could drop on you........

    Emma :)
