Igniting the bright flames of the bonfire
Glistening in sparkling fireworks
Harmless to the eye unless you stare at it close
The
Southern lights are amazing!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great acrostic poem, you have nicely captured a sense of the 'southern lights. I'd love to see what you might write for a thunderstorm?
Kia ora Sam,
ReplyDeleteWell done on another completed Summer Learning Journey post, these are lovely to read so keep up the hard work!
Like Mr. Sutton has said, you have really captured a sense of what the Southern Lights might look like! I really enjoy that you have been descriptive in the words that you have used, it helps to imagine what you would be seeing which is fantastic. I also love that you read Mr. Suttons comment and created another poem about a storm, that is awesome!
What do you think you would rather see, the Southern Lights or an explosive thunder and lightning storm?
Until next time, happy blogging. :)
